COBRA stands for “Collaborative Labour Opportunities in Brandenburg” and is a pilot project that was funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the state of Brandenburg in 2013-2015. The aim was to test collaborative forms of work and new partnerships on the labour market in rural areas of Brandenburg. The project initiated cooperation between students in the creative industries and regional companies. Over a period of 1.5 years, they work together to solve specific, regionally based problems.
Joint projects (e.g. the development of new products from metal residues or the motivation of pupils for the open day of an industrial company) form the occasion for knowledge exchange, understanding and joint learning processes. The creative people set positive impulses (innovation at the companies, public events) and get to know the city and the region.
