Transformation ToolkitDocumentation of the final VorAB-conference 2024

The world urgently needs pioneers and innovations for sustainable transformation. The forest offers both. But not all forests are the same. In addition to traditional forest management, there are models that are trialling a more sustainable alternative. The Lübeck model has a particularly positive impact on climate protection, the protection and preservation of biodiversity and adaptation to climate change.

In a one-day creative lab, solutions were developed in small teams and with the help of our Multiplicities method set. On the one hand, the question of what more can the near-natural forest do and, on the other, the challenge of the “Aspen Container” as a transformation site. How can it become an advocate for the pioneers?

With which formats and for which actors or institutions can the container develop its full impact for people and the forest? Can it integrate the forest more strongly into the region? We are developing ideas to get consumers, forest owners and wood-processing companies in the region more enthusiastic about ecological forest use.
