In cooperation with Actors of Urban Change, Multiplicities was facilitating a case clinic at Kraftwerk Bille. 25 artists work in this factory complex from the late 19th century, located in Hammerbrook, a mostly industrial area East of Hamburg. Will artists and creative people have affordable spaces for non-commercial, cultural, public use in the future?
Multiplicities fostered citizen collaboration and cooperative engagement and developed options how to create wider public attention for artist spaces within the privately-owned Kraftwerk Bille.
How can encounters among various people be facilitated to spark people’s interest in urban development and active citizenship? This endeavor is part of the engagement of Kraftwerk Bille to develop this area as a center for active and interested people in the East of Hamburg.
