Feasibility study for a start-up hub in Potsdam
Multiplicities is working with Belius GmbH, Studio Malta and architect Nele Zareh on a feasibility study for a planned start-up hub (“factory”) in the media city of Babelsberg/Potsdam.
The state capital wants to further strengthen the transitional phase between training, acquiring qualifications and founding activities of start-ups and entrepreneurs in Potsdam and offer additional space for small-scale, flexible and risk-oriented innovation processes between the creative industries, digitalisation and media and film production.
Analysing the potential of “founders” in the convergence area of ICT, media and creative industries as the basis for a market potential assessment for a planned “Factory” property in the media city of Babelsberg.
We are conducting a location barometer of potential workspaces for founders, start-ups and (solo) self-employed people in the digital, media and creative markets.
The media city of Babelsberg is to be strengthened in its innovation and start-up potential in the future and thus become even more attractive for impulse and idea providers. The planned start-up and innovation centre can make an important contribution to further strengthening the value chains and networking within the media city of Babelsberg and beyond.
We show new value creation processes in the convergence area in the digital, media and creative markets as well as the effects on the Potsdam location.
