Report for the Federal Ministry of EconomicsSME-creative – How to promote innovation properly?
Together with Prognos AG, Multiplicities is analysing funding models in Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics in Berlin (BMWi) that support creative industry innovations in small and medium-sized enterprises. The increasingly important role of the cultural and creative industries for many other industrial sectors is widely recognised. How can small and medium-sized companies succeed in absorbing the positive effects and innovation potential of the creative industries? In an accompanying analysis, Multiplicities interviewed participants and organisers of corresponding funding programmes in Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia and was able to identify success factors by including international comparisons. The study shows how the public sector can enable small and medium-sized enterprises to build bridges in order to operate economically successfully by means of novel solutions and innovative collaborations.
