Participatory cultural strategy in Friedberg (Bavaria)

Multiplicities supports the city of Friedberg and the cultural department in formulating a cultural development concept. Art and culture are becoming increasingly important in the context of municipal urban and regional development. Multiplicities supports the Bavarian municipality of Friedberg in creating better framework conditions for culture and in organising cultural work and cultural promotion in a more concept-based and planned manner. We provide analyses for the city of Friedberg, such as an assessment of the current situation of culture in Friedberg and its development over the last five years. In addition to interviews and data analyses, an empirical study was used for this purpose. It provides Friedberg’s protagonists with the opportunity to present their organisations/activities and thus highlight important developments, strengths and challenges.
