Participation, analysis and public dialogue as a starting point for the development of new cultural profiles in Augsburg.
In cooperation with Dr Patrick Föhl and Tina Gadow, Multiplicities carried out a strategic, citizen-oriented reorientation of Augsburg’s cultural landscape for the city of Augsburg.
Between 2014-2016, expert interviews, public citizen workshops, online surveys and dialogue platforms were used to initiate a cultural policy, urban planning and community-oriented focus on a new theatre district. In January 2016, the representatives responsible for the renovation of the Stadttheater and the design of the surrounding neighbourhood received and implemented specific ideas and suggestions from the public workshops.
In March 2016, criteria and approaches for future cultural promotion were discussed and developed in a workshop.

Transformation of an industrial wasteland into a creative quarter
With target group workshops, a future workshop and an urban development framework plan, Multiplicities is initiating a user-driven redevelopment of an old industrial site in Augsburg's city centre on the Gaswerk site. The Gaswerk site is being transformed into a new, creative and dynamic space for Augsburg.
