New places of work in rural areas

Multiplicities and Belius GmbH are initiating a transformation of technology and start-up centres in the districts of Rendsburg and Plön (Kiel city region). The report presents results and measures to improve three technology and start-up centres (TGZ) in the district of Plön and the district of Rendsburg-Eckernförde in Schleswig-Holstein. The aim is to activate rural areas in the Kiel region. The study presents recommendations for action to ensure future viability through knowledge transfer and business start-ups in the Kiel region.

The report presents results and measures to improve three technology and start-up centres (TGZ) in the district of Plön and the district of Rendsburg-Eckernförde in Schleswig-Holstein. Based on a user-centred analysis (interviews and workshops), prototypical ideas and measures were developed with tenants, operators and intermediaries from politics, planning, administration and funding bodies.
