Feasibility study on urban gardening and indoor farming

Wilhelmshaven wants to use urban gardening and vertical farming to counteract the vacant space in the city centre. Together with paper planes e.V. and the Autonome Architektur Atelier (AAA GmbH) from Bremen (c/o project management ZZZ-ZwischenZeitZentrale Bremen), we are examining location conditions and utilisation options.

The UrbanFarm project of the city of Wilhelmshaven is inviting citizens to help make the city centre greener. We asked them what they would like to see? What plants and offers do you expect? The creative workshop informed around 45 stakeholders and citizens about the project approach over two days. Citizens should participate and also become users of the products.
