Multiplicities conducts future workshops in the BMBF-run project “Future urban spaces for young people”.

Multiplicities is a project partner alongside Sociovision and Holzhauerei under the direction of the Institute for Ecological Economic Research (IÖW) in Berlin, with the aim of carrying out a survey of the environmental awareness and behaviour of today’s youth and their urban life.

Based on the main topics of the Federal Environment Ministry (BMUB), the study provides a youth-specific agenda for environmental and urban policy in the digital age. The environmental and sustainability-related attitudes and habits of young people are explored in the project in a participatory learning and awareness-raising process.

Multiplicities works with the target group and uses innovative dialogue methods to develop future scenarios of the city for young people. The participatory character of the project is ensured through an especially established youth project advisory board, which provides critical and supportive support.
Multiplicities contributes to this pilot study in order to develop and implement environmental and urban measures, taking into account the perspectives of young people.
